From cradle to college, we are here to support you and your child through all stages of life and health.
Proactive, compassionate, and all-encompassing, our clinic provides quality pediatric care and treats every patient like family. We welcome children and families from Sheboygan County and the surrounding areas to join us at our pediatric clinic!
Our Doctors
We’re committed to providing the best pediatric care for our patients and their families. We currently have four Board Certified Pediatricians who have privileges at St. Nicholas Hospital and Aurora Memorial Medical Center in Sheboygan, WI.
Our Physician Assistant is also a Certified Lactation Consultant and works closely with new mothers to overcome breastfeeding challenges.
Dr. Trager
Dr. Trager grew up in central Illinois, attended the University of Notre Dame, and received his medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine. He completed his pediatric residency at James Whitcomb Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis. While in residency, Dr. Trager was a member of the newborn and pediatric intensive care transport team. He has been practicing general pediatrics in Sheboygan since 1986 and served for 14 years on the board of St. Nicholas Hospital. Dr. Trager enjoys working with children of all ages, particularly those with asthma and attention deficit disorder. In his free time, he enjoys road biking, swimming, and tries to read a book per month. His wife, Meg, a former nurse, is now a real estate agent. They raised four children, Joe, Ben, Anne, and Jack, who are now out conquering the world.

Alyssa Pfeifer-Rentmeester, PA-C
Alyssa Pfeifer-Rentmeester, PA-C, grew up in Plymouth, WI. She completed her Bachelor of Science from Marian University in 2013 and completed her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Midwestern University in 2018. Alyssa is certified by The National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). One of her clinical rotations was with Sheboygan Pediatrics. After her rotation with us, we knew she should be a part of our pediatric team! Alyssa has a passion for children of all ages and is grateful to be a part of maintaining your child’s health which includes a new role as a certified lactation consultant. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, photography, and spending time outdoors gardening, kayaking, and skiing. Her husband, Joe, works in sales, and together they own and operate vacation rentals in the nearby area, as well as enjoy their son, Wyatt. She hopes to build a lasting relationship with each of you and feels privileged that you will entrust her with your child’s health.

Dr. Brandon Kozinski, DO
Dr. Kozinski grew up in southern Milwaukee where he met his wife, Caitlyn, at Greendale High School. He received his undergraduate degree in biology from St. Norbert College, where he also lettered in varsity baseball. Following college, he received his osteopathic medical degree from Touro University Nevada and completed his pediatric residency from the University of Missouri. Dr. Kozinski and his wife could not be happier to return home to Wisconsin after seven long years away with their newborn son Dekker. Currently Caitlyn is taking some time away from being a nurse to be home for their little one. Dr. Kozinski is looking forward to watching his son grow alongside your own children (and hopefully learn a few tricks from the parents as well). In his spare time you can find him out golfing, eating frozen custard, or on family walks with their handsome Great Pyrenees. His professional areas of interest include sports medicine and preventative care.

Ashley Nicoloff, DNP, APRN, CPNP-PC
Ashley Nicoloff grew up in the Fox Valley area. She is a 3-time graduate of Marquette University, completing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2009, Master of Science in Nursing in 2024, and Doctor of Nursing Practice in 2025. She is certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board as a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in Primary Care (CPNP-PC). Prior to graduate school, Ashley commissioned as U.S. Navy Nurse Corps Officer where she served at Naval Hospital Okinawa, Japan; Naval Medical Center San Diego; Fleet Surgical Team-1 where she served as critical care flight nurse; and deployed with 2nd Battalion 2nd Marines in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. She discovered her love for pediatrics serving vulnerable populations during medical mission trips in Malawi, Romania, the country of Georgia, and Mexico. At Sheboygan Pediatrics, Ashley enjoys working with children of all ages and has special interests in preventative care and building resiliency. Together with her husband, Pete, who is a psychiatric nurse practitioner in Sheboygan, they enjoy raising their two children as well as fishing, hiking, traveling, and exploring the great outdoors.
